With captivating textures and colours, she provides a lens through which we may see differently familiar national icons and everyday experiences of Canadiana.Soyez des nôtres à la GAO le samedi 18 avril dans la salle Spencerville (niveau 3), de 13 h 30 à 15 h pour une table ronde en compagnie de l’artiste Leah Decter et les co-commissaires Rachelle Dickenson and Carla Taunton.Les œuvres de Leah Decter, artiste et chercheuse allochtone blanche, fournissent l’occasion de réfléchir aux liens que l’on entretient avec les autres et avec la terre. Au moyen de textures et de couleurs captivantes, l’artiste nous permet de cerner les icônes nationales familières et les expériences quotidiennes de canadiana d’un angle différent.
